1. Data controller

The Synertia website is managed by Global Watch, Lda., owner of the Synertia brand, which is the controller of the personal data collected through this website.

2. Data we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form: name, organisation, role, email, phone and the content of your message. If you accept it in the cookie notice, we also collect statistical data on how the website is used (see section 7).

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Replying to your contact or demo request — based on your consent and on pre-contractual steps taken at your request;
• Understanding, in aggregate, how the website is used — based on your consent;
• Complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or for marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Retention

Data is kept for as long as needed to reply to your request and, after that, only for the period required by law or needed to defend legal claims.

5. Sharing

Data may be processed by service providers supporting Global Watch, Lda., namely website hosting (Netlify), the delivery of the email with your request (Scaleway, in the European Union) and, if you accept it, usage statistics (Google Analytics), always under agreements that ensure data protection. We do not sell personal data.

6. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679), you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

7. Cookies and usage statistics

This website does not use advertising cookies. It uses technical resources needed for it to work, such as loading fonts, and stores in your browser the choice you make in the cookie notice.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand in aggregate the number of visits, the pages viewed, where visits come from and the country of access. To do so, Google Analytics stores cookies on your device whose names start with "_ga", for up to two years. The data may be processed by Google outside the European Union, including in the United States of America, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Google Analytics is only enabled after you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice. If you reject or do not answer, these cookies are not created and your visit is not measured. Your choice is valid for 12 months and you can change it at any time through the "Cookies" link in the website footer.
